Job Introduction

The purpose of this role is to provide a repair and maintenance service within residents apartments and the communal areas of the complex, including the swimming pool and spa ensuring equipment and systems are maintained to a high standard. The role will also involve carryout routine health and safety tests and inspections. 

Role Responsibility

In this varied role you will be responsible for the property maintenance of one or more of our Supported Housing services.

You will  need to ensure that all repairs are carried out effectively and quickly, and to a good standard, with adherence to health and safety requirements and relevant building and construction related regulations.

You will also be able to readily identify emerging maintenance issues, and report them to the Assistant Manager, thereby minimising impact, risk and damage.

The Ideal Candidate

You must have good general property maintenance knowledge and skills, and experience in providing maintenance services to other clients.

You will be able to communicate and interact well with people, be able to read and write to a good standard, and computer literate.

You must have good knowledge of relevant health and safety and trade regulations, and have the ability to assess and manage risk.

Importantly, you must have access to your own tools and supplies, and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
