We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to Join our staff team, ideally with a start date of 1st July.
Your primary role will be to ensure and maintain high standard of cleanliness & hygiene throughout our lovely House. In addition you will also carry out laundry duties, and also assist in our kitchen with washing up.

The Ideal Candidate
Ideally you will have some experience of working with older people, although this is not essential.

About the Company
Located in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, Abbeyfield House in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire is set in an area of natural outstanding beauty. Our house was purpose built in the mid 1970’s and has since been extended and comprises of 16 rooms, all of varying size, with kitchenettes, to allow our residents to make breakfast in the morning at their own pace for a gentle start to the day. Most of our rooms also have en-suite facilities.
What makes Abbeyfield House special is our location. Being in the centre of the village means were in close proximity to local shops, library, a pharmacy, Post Office, churches, restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as, good transport links – we are 40 minutes away from London by train. The Roald Dahl Museum is also within walking distance.
We pride ourselves on offering our residents a welcoming, friendly and relaxed, homely environment and are supported by a dedicated and caring team of trustees, staff and volunteers.
Our house has recently been renovated with a new kitchen installed in 2017, and during 2018 we had our furniture reupholstered, had new carpets fitted and redecorated our communal lounge and dining room.
