Community Engagement Co-ordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of shaping a new community service for older people. This role puts elderly people at the heart of the local community, by enabling you to use your strong engagement and networking skills to enhance their lived experience.
This is a varied role that will enable your passion for community engagement with the elderly to shine through. You will ensure that a strong volunteer workforce is recruited and effectively deployed, and a range of social activities are organised regularly in established venues.
Additionally, you will use a range of communication/advertising methods to inform the community of the activities and services being provided. And you will develop a system of ongoing market research, to understand the type of activities and services desired by older people.
Finally, you will establish and enhance partnerships with existing local community groups or organisations, and identify and secure new funding sources to further enhance the community mission.
