Role Responsibility

As one of our highly valued carers, you'll be at the front line of care delivery. You’ll help residents with their individual care needs such as personal care, medical care and following social interests. You’ll build a special bond with each resident and give professional and emotional support during difficult times such as periods of illness.

You just know exactly how to make the residents feel as comfortable as possible and put a smile on their faces. Above all, you’ll treat residents with kindness, respect and compassion, ensuring each individual has a choice and feeling of self worth.

Don’t worry if you have no experience - we’ll provide you with all the training you need. What’s more important is that you have a natural calling to care!

Package Description

About the Company

Kenton House is a small and friendly care home offering high standards of care and accommodation with excellent transport links to Harrow and the local amenities.  Care plans are tailored to the needs of those of our residents who are looking for short or long term stays.

Set within a quiet, pleasant residential area in Harrow, our home features bright and spacious interiors, with comfortable lounge areas and 11 en-suite bedrooms.  Views of the beautifully maintained gardens can be enjoyed throughout the home all year round.  Residents have access to an onsite hairdresser and chiropodist.

A busy calendar of events ensures our residents stay active and stimulated and include regular coffee mornings, gentle exercise classes and arts and crafts.  Day trips and pub lunches prove to be popular as well as garden parties in the warmer months.  Mealtimes can be enjoyed with others in our attractive dining room, and there is always a choice of freshly cooked homemade meals on offer.

There is a friendly, warm and homely environment created by our wonderful team who help empower our residents to make their own decisions.  Every team member is dedicated, knowledgeable and is rewarded by the fact that our residents feel fulfilled and stimulated mentally through everything they do.
